About us
Zemach Feed Mill is the leading Israeli factory in the production of aquaculture feed.
The factory is situated at the heart of the freshwater fish producing area . We supplys feed from the source of the Jordan River in the North all the way down to the Red Sea fish farms in the South.
We produce feeds for a vast variety of fish – Tilapia, Carp, Hybrid Bass, Red Drum, Trout, European Sea-Bass, African Catfish and Sea-Bream.
Technology
At Zemach Feed Mill we primarily use extrusion to produce fish feed. Using this technique, we are able to produce a wide variety of feed – floating or sinking feeds, crumb or pellet feed.
The feed is supplied either in bulk or in feed bags- depending on the customer requirement.
Research and Development
Zemach Feed Mill is engaged in research and the development of aquaculture feed In conjunction with the Ginnosar, Dor and Eilat Sea Aquaculture Institute Research Stations. We perform research on feeding Tilapia, Trout, Bass and Sea-Bream.
Since we are in close contact with local fish growers , we have the ability to examine and immediately implement all test results - while receiving real time field feedback .
Due to our extensive research and knowledge of Tilapia we have quickly become an authority on this particular feed. Counseling is provided by our experts on a worldwide scale.

Quality Assurance
Zemach Feed Mill is ISO 9001 Certified.
We maintain a meticulous quality assurance program, based on advanced laboratory and sampling systems of both raw materials and finished products, using NIR technology and wet chemistry.
In addition, all products must pass physical tests-tests designed to examine the pellet strength, dust percentage and sweet/ salty water tolerability.
Feed that does not meet the set standard for either chemical composition or physical qualities is not approved for marketing.
All raw materials and finished products are under constant supervision of the Governmental Authority for Quality Control of Animal Feed.
