100% Chardonnay

Cleopatra, a wine in the Alexander the Great series, is a choice white produced entirely from Chardonnay grapes grown in the Ben Zimra vineyard.  This small exclusive vineyard produces no more than some 600 kilograms per dunam (about 2.6 tons per acre).  This vineyard is a prime example of a wine grower with a traditional love for his work, and the integration of advanced agro-technology.

The wine offers a developed aroma typical of pineapple, with light touches of apple and pear.  The taste continues into a fest of richly tropical fruit, enveloped in hints and touches of delicate vanilla and marzipan and a whiff of top class fresh French brioche.  This Chardonnay can be enjoyed for years to come.

The wine is matured for 18 months in new and old barrels.
