Sara Konforty's numerous artworks, including paintings, sculptures, small and large – scale artistic creations, have been extensively exhibited in Israel and around the world
Her work is well received by both critics and by public. Sara's handcrafted, hand painted glass and ceramic products are greatly sought after by architects, designers and private individuals.
Sara Konforty has chosen to exploit her prolific artistic talents on a practical level in interior and exterior design. Her Motto bravely states: Art and beauty are not privileged luxuries. She firmly believes that her unique creations add a new dimension to our daily living space, private home or public building. The transformation of our everyday surroundings through Sara's artistic forms heightens the senses and beautifies the quality of life itself.
Based on her rich artistic experience, Sara Konforty planned, designed and created a vast number (over 10,000) of distinctive tiles in a variety of shades and shapes, square and diamond shaped, triangular and round, strip and other distinctive forms such as shells and elements drawn from the natural world.
In addition to her design abilities of hand made decorative ceramic and glass tiles for bathrooms, kitchens, walls and floor coverings, Sara also creates unique hand made glass tiles that are a combination of both ceramics and glass which are decorated with embossed glass or ceramic objects with special designs and exceptional coloring. The handcrafted tiles are intended for both internal and external walls. While artistic creations adorn externals walls of homes and public buildings, as well as reception areas of offices, medical centers and hotels. The tiles can withstand the harshest weather conditions.
Blank walls are transformed to reflect love and beauty, hope and dreams. The color, shape and size of the glass tiles work in perfect harmony, each item reflecting a whole world.
Sara is offering traditional and non- traditional glass painting techniques on windows, doors for private houses, synagogues, and public buildings. Sara developed a unique technique in her Vitrages for synagogues. Sara Konforty designs special designs as Parochet for synagogues, Torah Ark, Teivat Chazzan and Bamah.
