Established 35 years ago, Salina Industries (1972) Ltd. produces and supplies film, bags and conical sleeves of single and multilayer polypropylene. Production is fully integrated, from the extrusion process to the finished product.

All of Salina's BOPP and CPP polypropylene products are highly glossy, strong and transparent.

Salina polypropylene packaging has many characteristics which make it especially suitable for a wide variety of applications:

• Film for automatic packaging of fresh produce.
• Bags for bread and baked goods.
• Bags for fruit and vegetables.
• Conical sleeves for fresh flowers, potted plants and herbs.
• Packaging for textiles.

Both film and the finished products are manufactured exclusively to customer specifications regarding dimensions, personalize printing and thickness. Among the many options available:

• Printing in up to 8 colors

• Microscopic (Laser) perforation used to prolong shelf life of fresh fruits, vegetables and “ready to eat” salads.

Salina's quality assurance system complies with ISO 9001:2000 standards. All of its products undergo rigorous quality control testing, meeting international packaging standards. Products used for food packaging are manufactured using materials approved by the FDA and EEC.

Salina is in the final stages of accreditation of ETI (Ethical Trade Initiative) enabling Salina to sell to major multiples world wide.

Our Factory
Salina Industries (1972) Ltd. is located in Upper Nazareth, in the Galilee region of Israel. A work team of 220 employees, in a building encompassing an area of 20,000 square meters, works 24 hours in three shifts, year round.
